ET2000 Ethernet Terminal
The first-of-its-kind
ET2000 simplifies support and offers
a low-cost solution for today's IBM AS/400
and mainframe driven offices. This ultra-thin
client is exclusively available from CLI and
their authorized resellers.
The new ET2000 is an ethernet connected, character-based terminal with
a host addressable printer port for IBM AS/400 and mainframe networks.
The ET2000 offers simplicity and manageability with familiarity in keyboards
and monitors displaying sign-on screen with the look of a twinax/coax
terminal.
Enjoy simple local or remote network connectivity using TCP/IP and TN5250e/TN3270e
to IBM AS/400 or mainframe servers.
Gain multi-host, multi-session hook-up (up to four sessions to up to
four different hosts). Centralized management of individual units allows
better utilization of support and help desk assets.
Productivity is enhanced by eliminating user learning curve and costs
associated with NC or PC products. There is no seat license and boot
server is not required. ET2000 Ethernet terminals connect via inexpensive
TCP/IP router which eliminates the need for remote controllers, SNA back-bone
networks, or expensive new wiring.
Domino or Exchange email is supported via IBM recommended Evergreen/400
email software as well as other host-based email packages.
